"Avengers Assemble!" Steve Rogers was a small, frail young man when he enlisted in the army during World War II. He is subjected to a super-soldier program, where he is injected with a special serum and dosed with "vita-rays". When the experiment is over, Rogers is now much taller and more muscular. Steve Rogers is now a superhuman and becomes Captain America, the first Avenger! Captain America is the leader of the Avengers and is portrayed by Chris Evans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Cap has the undying will to protect the people of America, the world, and the Universe. His weapon of choice is a Vibranium shield with the classic red, white, and blue color scheme.
